Rajesh gets away with Karishma

Two veteran superstars Rajesh Hamal and Karishma Manandhar attended a reception organized to mark the 55th anniversary of Nepal-China diplomatic ties in Beijing, the capital of China, on Monday evening. The Chinese Embassy in the capital had earlier sent invitations to around a score of Nepali Film artists including Rajesh and Karishma for their presence in the event. The Embassy had also invited director Sunil Pokhrel and his theatre artists to stage a play 'Muna Madan' in the ceremony.

Nepal and China have been exchanging cultural heritages with each other following the signing on a pack on cultural exchange in 1995. The Embassy had organized a week-long 'China Festival' in June, 2009, on the happy occasion of 55th anniversary of the bilateral ties between Nepal and China. About two months back, musician Ammbar Gurung had organized his solo function 'Ammar Sajha' in the capital city of the northern neighbour.
