Koirala to appear in Nepali films

It's a big news to Nepalese viewers that Manisha Koirala, once a popular Bollywood actress, will be seen in Nepali films soon. Director Deependra K. Khanal who has stepped into Nepali film industry with his first project 'The Yug Dekhi Yug Samma' has made public to make a new film starring Manisha and superstar Rajesh Hamal together.

The title of the film is yet to be decided upon, said Deependra who has accomplished a course on film direction in Japan. Having spent many years of her life in Bollywood, Manisha shot to fame professionally in the international arena.

However, she has suffered shortage of film projects in the recent past years. Manisha had made her way into Bollywood after playing an actress in her first Nepali film 'Pheri Bhetaula' many years back.

Manisha expressed her keen desire to appear in Nepal films in an exclusive interview she offered to Nepali Khabar during her recent visit to Nepal on the occasion of Tihar festival. The film's funding will be borne by director Deependra and Dr Durga Pokhrel.

The shooting of the film will kick off from 21 January next year. The film will have five songs altogether, being recorded currently, among which Hari Lamsal and Raju Sinha will give a flavor of music to two songs each while Suresh Rai to one.
