Shooting kicks off for 'Raj'

Director Shobhit Basnet has taken a departure from his tradition in the first shooting for a new project 'Raj'. Shobhit kicked off Raj's shooting urging Nepalese audience to keep loving Nepalese films and artists.

Earlier, Director Shobhit had done the first shooting of the film 'Kanyadan' in the centre of a beautiful lake Phewa in Pokhara. Most generally, it has been an established tradition to take the first shot of a new film with actors/actresses articulating a dialogue from a script.

Actor Shiva Shrestha, Jaya Kisan and Actress Rejina Upreti were made ready for the first shot at Director Yovraj Lama's direction. The film, produced by Mohan Krishna Shrestha and Gajendra Ranjit, is starring Shiva Shrestha, Biraj Bhatta, Shrijana Basnet, Rejina Upreti in leading roles.

Other cast are Jayakisan Basnet, Rabindra Khadka, Sunil Thapa, Uttam K.C. and Kushal Thapa among others.
