Life-insurance in vogue among kallywood artists

Kathmandu - Life-insurance has been a fashion among the artists of Nepalese Film Industry these days. Rekha Thapa, one of the hottest actresses in Kallywood, has recently adopted a life-insurance plan worth Rs.

two and a half million. In her film career, she has been offering many adventurous stunts like bungee-jumping. "The reason behind my life-insurance move is that film producers have not adopted insurance policy for Kallywood artists yet," complained Thapa, further adding "My intention is not to make money through this life-insurance motif."

As per the terms and conditions of the insurance plan, Thapa has to pay the premium worth Rs. 85 thousands a year. However, Thapa is to receive Rs. 6 million with bonus after she reaches 50.

Kallywood Badshaha Rajesh Hamal, Rekha Thapa's husband Chhavi Ojha, and Arjun Shrestha are among those moving into life-insurance scheme. Action hero Nikhil Upreti has taken insurance plan for his fingers, too.
